About us The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the leading organisation for training, accrediting, and representing psychiatrists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Through conferences, publications, and initiatives, the College drives evidence-based practices, ensures high-quality, culturally aligned care, and works to enhance healthcare outcomes for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Māori communities in alignment with reconciliation and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. About the Role The RANZCP has received funding from the Australian Government to support the Specialist Training Program (STP), the Military and Veterans' Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP), the Psychiatry Workforce Program (PWP), and the Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES). This role is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and management of activities across these programs, including training posts and support projects. The position also provides leadership to staff working within these areas, ensuring effective program delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Please refer to the Position Description attached for further details. What You'll Bring - Demonstrated proven project management skills, including delivering within budget and on schedule.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health science and/or business are desirable.
- Experience leading and managing a team to successfully deliver projects.
- Experience in liaising with and reporting to Government departments.
- Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
Some of What’s on Offer: - Salary range from $105,099 to $131,348 inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.
- Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
