About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting the growth of professional communities, and contributing in a meaningful role that helps to drive change and improvement? As the Project Officer, Membership Development, you'll play an important role in supporting the work of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) through the development and implementation of a diverse range of initiatives, projects, and programs. This is a permanent, ongoing, part-time position (0.4 FTE).

 

In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Membership Engagement Committee (MEC), its sub-committees, working groups, and trainee representative committees to plan, coordinate, and deliver impactful projects that meet the evolving needs and expectations of our members.

 

You will have a particular focus on advancing the RANZCP Membership and Trainee Engagement Strategies, driving projects and programs that create meaningful connections and enhance member experiences across all segments.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong Organisational and Project Planning Skills: Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including individual members and committees.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: A team-oriented approach, with the ability to work closely with various committees, working groups, and member segments to drive project outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all project outputs meet the highest standards and align with the needs of RANZCP members.
  • Experience within membership or nonprofit organisations is a plus, along with a passion for driving meaningful change in mental health care. 
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen or holds the right to work in Australia.  

Some of What’s on Offer: 

  • Salary range from $65,363-$81,755 TRP pro-rata per annum inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.  
  • Hybrid work options. 
  • A monthly free paid day off for full-time staff, with pro rata benefits for part-time staff. 
  • Gender neutral 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary care givers.
