About the Role

The RANZCP has received funding from the Australian Government for the:

  • Specialist Training Program (STP)
  • Military and Veterans' Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP)
  • Psychiatry Workforce Program (PWP)
  • Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES).

This position is responsible for the administration of contracts and reports with secondary funding agreements with Health Services according to the contracted schedule/s of the initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities include 

  • Administer contracts and reporting associated with secondary funding agreements with Health Services, in line with contracted schedules.
  • Coordinate reporting from all health services, including:
    • Preparation and maintenance of reporting templates
    • Dissemination of reporting requirements to training posts
    • Receipt and processing of reporting documentation
    • Coordination of reports and invoices for approval and payment
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with health services, providing advice and support on contractual and program requirements.
  • Collect, collate, and analyse training post data to report against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and upload training post data via the Government’s portal.

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in contracts, commerce, or equivalent work experience.
  • Competence with the MS Office suite and database software.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience liaising and reporting with Governments and health services.
  • Relevant experience in administering contracts and reporting.
  • Demonstrated financial reporting experience.
  • Experience working in or an understanding of the Australian / New Zealand health system(s) is desirable.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
  • Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.

Some of What’s on Offer: 

  • Salary range from $65,363 to $81,755 inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.  
  • Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
  • A paid day off each month for full-time employees.
  • 12 weeks of gender-neutral paid parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers.
