The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the leading organisation responsible for training, developing, accrediting, advocating for and representing psychiatrists across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand within the mental health sector. What is PIF? 

The Psychiatry Interest Forum (PIF) program is funded by the Australian Government and promotes psychiatry to medical graduates through the early engagement of medical students and encourages them to choose a career in psychiatry and join the RANZCP Fellowship program.  

 

About the Role

This position is part-time (0.4FTE, equivalent to 2 days per week), fixed term to 30 June 2026. This position supports PIF through the provision of high-quality, administrative and program support. A key focus of this role is administration coordination for the delivery of projects within the PIF program.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated administrative experience preferably in a university, health, or membership-based organisation.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask, establish priorities and to work to tight or competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a particular emphasis on data handling and report generation.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience within membership or nonprofit organisations is a plus, along with a passion for driving meaningful change in mental health care. 
  • A can do mindset. 
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen or holds the right to work in Australia.  

Some of What’s on Offer: 

  • Salary ranges from $64,533 to $77,398 (pro-rata) inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.  
  • A great hybrid working environment. 
  • A monthly free paid day off for full-time staff, with pro rata benefits for part-time staff. 
  • Gender neutral 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary care givers.
