About the Role

The purpose of this role is to high level administrative and operational support to Bi-national Committees across Australia & New Zealand to significantly impact their effective operation, ensuring the needs and expectations of RANZCP members are being met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and distributing meeting minutes, agendas, meeting papers, risk and COI registers, work and action plans, newsletters, invitations and general correspondence.
  • Coordinating the follow-up of work and action plans, whilst maintaining an accurate record of the Committees in progress in achieving agreed plans.
  • Facilitating effective communication between team members, Chairs, Committee Members, College staff and act as the main point of contact.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate Bi-national committee meetings (virtual, local, inter-state and international) with consideration of time zones and quorum requirements. 
  • Organise meeting logistics, including; catering, venues and IT/AV, and, assist with the booking of accommodation, flights and providing cab-charge vouchers whilst considering any special requests.
  • Represent the College at all committee meetings as requested, local, inter-state and international.  
  • This is a remote role, with the opportunity to work from Melbourne, NSW, QLD or New Zealand.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated 5+ years administrative experience, preferably with experience providing administration support to boards or committees.  
  • Familiarity with membership services-based organisations or health or medical professionals would be an advantage.  
  • Demonstrated awareness and appreciation of Indigenous societies and cultures, and commitment to continually build knowledge of such, along with awareness of key issues which impact upon Indigenous peoples’ health and wellbeing. 
  • Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
  • Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.

  • Salary range from $65,363-$81,755 total package per annum inclusive of superannuation and leave loading.
