The role 

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity until 31 December 2025. We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic individual to coordinate multiple and complex projects addressing the conditions of the 2022 Australian Medical Council (AMC) accreditation assessment of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).

 

This role involves structuring and managing reporting requirements, providing high-level project management, and supporting the Manager, Working Groups, and relevant stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include developing project plans, progress reports, and activities to meet the AMC accreditation conditions. The successful candidate will focus on strategic development, engagement frameworks, and communication strategies for cross-College projects.

 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects and engaging with stakeholders.
  • Consultation and Proposal Development: Ability to conduct stakeholder consultations and develop well-researched proposals.
  • Project Design and Implementation: Ability to conceptualise and implement project plans in the medical education context.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with staff and external agencies.
  • Commitment to Indigenous Perspectives: Coordinate activities to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members and perspectives.
  • Collaborative Approach: A collaborative approach to project design and delivery.
  • Educational and Professional Background: Relevant tertiary qualifications and project management experience in an educational or medical environment.
  • Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of the Australian and/or New Zealand health system and accreditation requirements.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
