The role 

As part of our busy and bustling Education Department, this role provides support for academic examinations including overseeing applications and enrolments. Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and friendly? This is an exciting opportunity for you! 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Our Teams: Provide general administrative and logistics support for assessment activities, ensuring smooth coordination across our teams and committees.
  • Travel Coordination: Organise domestic and international travel and accommodation for external assessment activities, ensuring everything aligns with RANZCP policies.
  • Online and Offline Administration: Manage the administration of online assessments, exams, applications, and training sessions.
  • Committee Assistance: Offer support and handle administration tasks for various committees as needed.
  • Candidate Support: Provide clear and accurate advice regarding assessments, addressing inquiries from candidates and managing the clinical inbox.
  • Problem Resolution: Escalate and discuss issues appropriately with your team or supervisor, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
  • Eligibility Audits: Conduct audits to verify candidates' eligibility for assessments, manage application confirmations, timetables, results administration, and update relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work with other College staff to facilitate efficient administration of assessments.
  • Venue Coordination: Manage all aspects of assessment venues, including catering, audiovisual setup, assessor coordination, travel arrangements, and document distribution.
  • Paperwork Management: Handle all assessment-related paperwork, from preparing packs for assessment panels to printing, collating, and distributing documents.
  • Database Maintenance: Ensure our assessment-related databases are accurate and up-to-date, including trainee files and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to Initiatives: Support various education and examination initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Assist with reviewing, improving, and implementing processes within the Assessment Unit.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Experience in the student administration or assessment environment.
  • A background in tertiary or membership or student administration is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of examinations processes, training, or student applications.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs, including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
