The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), the principal organisation representing the medical speciality of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a Committee Administration Officer to join our Education & Training Department.
This role is responsible for the executive support and administration of various committees in Education, specifically in Assessment.
This role will be responsible to:
Provide high-level executive support to designated committees and working groups, to meet the required assessment and training deliverables.
Prepare and coordinate high-quality level meeting agendas, minutes, follow up and monitor progress on any actions and recommendations arising from the meetings in consultation with relevant stakeholders and staff.
Work with committee chairs, College staff to set the meeting agendas and ensure the distribution of all meeting and supporting papers, minutes as required.
Respond to member and candidates’ inquiries and issues.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to articulate ideas to diverse audiences, and sound ability to develop briefing papers and reports.
Demonstrated relationship/stakeholder management experience, and a commitment to high-quality customer service and ‘think outside the box’.
Exceptional attention to detail, and strong experience in administrative systems and committee administration and management of meetings.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills including the ability to show initiative and take responsibility and ownership of the role.
Excellent time management with the ability to plan, organise, set priorities, and meet competing deadlines, with flexibility to alter priorities to meet changing demands and expectations.
Capacity to work both independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively within a team, and escalate issues as required, with the ability to identify potential risks.
