The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is the principal organisation representing the medical specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand. A leader in the mental health sector, the College works to prepare medical specialists in the field of psychiatry, support and enhance clinical practice, advocate for people affected by mental illness and advise governments on mental health care.
Join us in a dynamic role at the RANZCP, supporting the delivery of key projects funded by the Australian Government. As part of our team, you will contribute to the success of initiatives such as the Specialist Training Program (STP), Military and Veterans' Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP), Psychiatry Workforce Program (PWP), Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES), and Support Projects. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the timely and effective delivery of these projects in alignment with their contracted schedules.
Coordinate meetings, travel and catering.
Administer committee/management group meetings and document outcomes.
Prepare various documents and materials for events and workshops.
Manage grant opportunities, applications and payments.
Handle invoices, expenses and reconciliations.
Update website content and distribute communications.
Establish and maintain office management systems.
File agreements, reports, financial records, and correspondence.
Provide general administrative support to the Projects Manager and team.
Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated experience providing administrative support for committees and working groups.
Proficiency in MS Office, database software, and tele/videoconference technologies.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in diverse settings.
Exceptional organisational and planning abilities, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
Desirable: Experience in the Australian health system and relevant tertiary qualifications in education or healthcare.
Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen. Or have an eligible VISA with full work rights until April 2026.
