The role 

This role provides pivotal support for the examinations administration and is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing applications for examinations and enrolments. This role is key to providing high-quality administrative support to the exams teams and works closely with the members of relevant committees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely administration of applications, including thorough review of eligibility criteria, and timely provision of necessary information to team members.
  • Assist in committee meetings as needed and generate essential reports on application statuses.
  • Manage databases pertaining to applications, eligibility, and assessments, while also providing administrative support for scheduling and logistics during examinations.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to meet deadlines and appropriately escalate issues requiring resolution.
  • Assist with candidate and examiner allocations for examination venues and prepare relevant documentation in consultation with team members.
  • Conduct accurate reviews of application eligibility criteria and contribute to refining Standard Operating Procedures and college regulations related to examination applications.
  • Contribute to and assist in implementing Quality Improvement initiatives to streamline current processes.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, catering, and any other relevant administration for the assessment activities and meetings.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Demonstrated experience in the student administration or assessment environment.
  • Sound background in tertiary or membership or student administration.
  • Understanding of examinations processes, training, or student applications.
  • Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of assessment regulations and eligibility or entry requirements.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs, including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
