The role

This role is responsible for the design and development of high-quality, contemporary and engaging Interactive eLearning courses, informed by design documents, storyboards, scripts, graphic and multimedia assets, narration, and style guides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Digital Education Services Manager, Instructional Designers, subject matter experts, and other College stakeholders to plan and prioritise eLearning development projects.
• Responsible for designing, delivering, quality assurance testing, maintainining and supporting eLearning resources. This includes researching and selecting appropriate content, creating and organising course materials, incorporating interactive and multimedia elements, and designing the user experience.
• Responsible for the technical development of online learning courses, including programming, testing, and quality assurance.
• Responsible for designing and implementing assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of online learning courses.
• Be the primary point of contact for members with Learnit queries.
• Troubleshoot eLearning content and LMS functionality issues, escalate as necessary and track to resolution.
• Track feedback from members and provide insights on how courses can be functionally improved.
• Prepare user analytics and other reports.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of standards and processes to support course development.
• Other duties as required and directed by the Digital Education Services Manager.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a relevant eLearning position.
• Demonstrated ability to work on simultaneous eLearning projects, responding to the needs of each project and working to establish priorities that meet different expectations.
• Solid experience with Litmos administration and customisation.
• Experienced in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Strong Javascript skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing an eLearning catalogue and administering an LMS and its resources.
• Sound experience in training and supporting LMS users.
• Strong visual design and technical skills to create interactive and engaging online learning content and developing the technical aspects of courses.
• Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
