About us

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and professional development programs. 

 

About the role

This is a fixed-term, full-time position from August 2025 to March 2026.

 

The purpose of this role is to lead and deliver a range of core RANZCP membership programs and services, and to support process improvement activities that will provide a high quality, consistent and seamless member experience.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of the RANZCP’s core package of member benefits and services, ensuring members’ needs are met.
  • Undertaking regular analysis and reporting of member data, managing dashboards and using data insights to inform decision making.
  • Managing all aspects of the RANZCP’s annual awards and member recognition programs, including application and selection processes, supplier liaison, governance and regular reviews.
  • Working across College departments and teams to provide integrated solutions for member services, focusing on a positive member experience and enhanced value for members.
  • Undertaking reviews of member benefits and services, identifying/actioning opportunities for improvement and implementing new benefits, initiatives or resources in line with strategic priorities.

What you'll bring

  • Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business administration or customer experience, analysis or customer insights.
  • Experience in a membership services organisation preferred or customer services-related role is desirable.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.
  • Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.

Some of what’s on offer: 

  • A Total Remuneration Package (TRP) of up to $103,646 is on offer, inclusive of leave loading and 12% superannuation.
  • Hybrid working model: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home.
  • A paid day off each month for full-time employees.
